Doreen Virtue says ADHD really stands for: 'Attention Dialled into a Higher Dimension'

About Indigos
Who they are and how we may support their growth...?
In the early 90's, a woman by the name of Nancy Tappe, author of Understanding Your Life Through Color, began to see a new generation of children being born recognizable by the indigo color their human energy field or aura emitted. These children behave differently from children we've know from past generations. So much so, the book The Indigo Children by Lee Carol & Jan Tober lists numerous character traits that recognizes and acknowledges indigo behavior. The Care and Feeding of Indigo Children - by Doreen Virtue is an excellant for further understanding. These are just a couple of many books and resources that speak to the spiritual nature of these children while emphasizing the preciousness of these 'gifted' souls. The wisdom that can be derived is that indigos are souls who have experienced many life times on earth. The indigo color represents an energy field of an individual who has cultivated his/her divine Presence to assist our planet in it's evolutionary growth. Yet today, countless thousands of these spiritually-gifted young people are being mis-diagnosed and treated for Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Bi-Polar Disorder. Sadly, many of our children are being placed on Ritilan and other anti-mood medications... The best way we can help is to understand....
What is an Indigo Child?
Attributes that best describe this new kind of child:
• They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it)
• They have a feeling of "deserving to be here" - surprised when others don't share that.
• Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents "who they are."
• They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).
• They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.
• They’re frustrated with ritually oriented systems that don't require creative thought.
• They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them
seem like "system busters" (nonconforming to any system).
• They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like - consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human
understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially.
• They don't respond to "guilt" discipline - eg."Wait till your father gets home and finds out
what you did"
• They are not shy in letting you know what they need.
• Often diagnosed with ADD / ADHD
• Need to have nutritious food, without chemical additives. Need to be Loved!
